Internship Background
From January-April of 2015, I was a production intern at Vermont PBS in Colchester, Vermont. During my time here, I took on various responsibilities such as filming, captioning, and studio set up. Filming Vermont PBS shows was definitely what I was most involved in during my internship. I got a chance to film various Vermont PBS productions such as Vermont this Week, Mmm...Maple!, Ask the Governor, and Outdoor Journal specials. Captioning Vermont PBS shows was another regular duty of mine at Vermont PBS. As well as mastering tasks and skills in the studio, I also joined the production crew on road trips to assist them on productions they were working on. Vermont PBS spend a lot of time reaching out to the community, which also gave me a lot of opportunities to be involved in filming pledge drives and helping out with local community events. Vermont PBS was was my very first internship and was a great experience. Below I have attached videos and links from some of the productions I filmed with Vermont PBS
